Learn the Essentials of a Successful Voter Registration Drive
Student leaders from the Maryland Association of Student Councils are organizing an informative how-to webinar on Voter Registration Drives this Thursday, October 19 at 7 PM to emphasize the significance of voting and educate high school students about the registration process. The event will include guests from the Montgomery County Board of Elections, Jahnavi Rao, founder of New Voters, and Nile Blass from the League of Women Voters of the U.S.
Whether your local Board of Elections, the League of Women Voters, school personnel, or others currently organize voter drives in your schools, we believe students can play an important role in the effort, gaining insights into the power of their voice in democracy.
